Manufacturers Reserve Supply Announces Partnership with James Hardie Building Products

The wholesale distributor will now carry James Hardie® fiber cement products

IRVINGTON, NJ (Dec. 11, 2017) — Manufacturers Reserve Supply (MRS), a premier wholesale building materials distributor servicing New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Connecticut has formed a partnership with James Hardie Building Products and will offer the company’s siding, trim and backer board to its customers in 2018. James Hardie is the leader in fiber cement siding and offers a diverse portfolio of lap and panel siding, shingle, trim and soffit products.

Established in 1931, MRS is a family-owned wholesale supplier built upon four generations of dedication and hard work. MRS’s name originated from reserving materials from manufacturers for its customers, which helped form a foundation of commitment to service and build valued and trusted relationships with dealers and suppliers. MRS continues the same level of dedication and customer service to this day, providing retailers and contractors with the knowledge they need, the shipping they rely on and the 100 percent accuracy levels that MRS is known for.

“It’s important that we only offer our customers the very best, and partnering with America’s No. 1 brand of siding helps us to achieve that vision,” said Brian Boyd, general manager and fourth generation of Manufacturers Reserve Supply. “We’ve been serving the industry for more than 85 years now and delivering James Hardie products will only help build our already vast selection of products for our customers.”

The partnership will give customers access to James Hardie products, which are available primed or in 25 shades of James Hardie ColorPlus® Technology colors in the Northeast market. ColorPlus Technology combines durability and beauty to create a lasting exterior product with baked-on color that resists chipping, cracking and peeling. James Hardie siding products are also Engineered for Climate®, meaning they are formulated to help protect a home from the specific weather conditions of its location. James Hardie siding products resist elements like wind, temperature change, pest damage and flame, which could otherwise damage vinyl, wood and wood-based siding.

“MRS and James Hardie share a common goal of providing customers with extraordinary service and value,” said Rob Reber, strategic accounts manager for James Hardie. “Together we will continue that mission and deliver products that make it easier for builders and contractors to create projects that are as unique as they are durable.”
